Access the fence posts and rails to determine if there is any structural damage.

Clear everything away from the fence including any lighting, hanging plants, and irrigation systems.

Remove the old panels or pickets with a hammer and pry bar.

Cut the new fence panels to size.

Attach the new pickets or panels with nails or screws checking to make sure they are level frequently.

Continue attaching until all panels are replaced.
