This simple DIY shed door is easy to build in an afternoon! Thin, lightweight materials make it simple to install in a standard door frame.

Start with a clean and organized space.

Use a tape measure to measure the height and width of the door where it swings open.

Clean and repair any damage to the door frame.

Calculate your door dimensions.

Cut the cedar wood boards and drill pocket holes.

Build the door using exterior pocket hole screws and a drill.

Sand the door smooth and apply your finish.

Install the door using non-mortise hinges that are great for lightweight doors.

Add a door handle and a magnetic catch to keep the door shut.

Now your new door is ready to use!!
