HOW TO MAKE A DIY GIFT CARD HOLDER

Add a personal touch to that generic gift card with these laser cut DIY gift card holders! What a fun and creative way to give a gift card!

MATERIALS Gather your 1/8 inch plywood and acrylic, your diode laser, and a few other odds and ends to make your own.

Prepare the laser file to cut using xTool Creative Space.

Make sure to move each layer to their own canvas for the different materials.

Set the engraving speed slower to create the darker engraving lines.

Cut the gift card holders.

Assemble the gift card holders using glue and double-sided adhesive tape.

Attach the spacers making sure to line up the edge pieces.

Attach the front piece to the holder.

Add the vinyl decoration piece using adhesive tape.

Insert a gift card and get to giving.
