How to Stain Cornhole Boards
Make sure your boards are sanded, and the dust removed, before you start staining. Apply the first coat with a rag, and wipe off the excess. You can stick with one coat if you're happy with the color, or apply a second coat the same way once the first is dry. Finish off the surface with a clear polyurethane or polycrylic so the surface is slick for playing.
